  • Ingredients

    • 115g Butter, Melted
    • 1 tablespoon Golden Syrup
    • 1 cup Plain Flour
    • 1 cup Sugar
    • 1 cup Oats
    • ¾ cup desiccated Coconut
    • 2 tablespoon Powered Milk
    • 1½ teaspoon Bicarb Soda
    • 2 tablespoon Boiling Water

    Method

    • Pre heat oven to 160°C.
    • Combine melted butter and golden syrup into a small bowl.
    • Put boiling water into a cup and add bicarb soda, stir until disolved.
    • Pour the bicarb & water mixture into the butter mixture. stir until all combined
    • Add flour, sugar, oats, coconut & powered milk into a large bowl, mix well.
    • Pour wet mixture on top of the dry mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon until combined
    • Place greased proof paper onto an oven tray.
    • Spoon 1 – 2 tablespoons of the mixture onto the paper, allowing enough room for spreading.
    • Bake in oven for 15 – 20 minutes.
    • When Biscuits are ready, put the them onto a cooling rack to allow them to cool.
