Makes: 10 – 12Prep Time: 15 minutesCooking Time: 30 – 40 minutes
Ingredients
- 115g Butter, Melted
- 1 tablespoon Golden Syrup
- 1 cup Plain Flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Oats
- ¾ cup desiccated Coconut
- 2 tablespoon Powered Milk
- 1½ teaspoon Bicarb Soda
- 2 tablespoon Boiling Water
Method

Pre heat oven to 160°C.
- Combine melted butter and golden syrup into a small bowl.
- Put boiling water into a cup and add bicarb soda, stir until disolved.
- Pour the bicarb & water mixture into the butter mixture. stir until all combined
- Add flour, sugar, oats, coconut & powered milk into a large bowl, mix well.
- Pour wet mixture on top of the dry mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon until combined
- Place greased proof paper onto an oven tray.
- Spoon 1 – 2 tablespoons of the mixture onto the paper, allowing enough room for spreading.
- Bake in oven for 15 – 20 minutes.
- When Biscuits are ready, put the them onto a cooling rack to allow them to cool.
